Having the fortitude to stand up against injustice and violence requires a better understanding and awareness of one’s self and surroundings. This necessitates dissemination of education, especially to those who have been marginalised, in social, economic, or geographical terms. 

 

• There is a severe deficit of people at all levels of the education system who are committed to working together to improve the capacity and quality of our nation’s education system.

• Considering the amount of resources we have, it is not possible for the teachers alone to provide quality education and reach the most marginalised as well. Even when India nears universal enrolment, there is a growing realization that bringing children into schools doesn’t equate to quality learning.

• The other reason behind this project is to provide children the access to basic literacy especially during the lockdown as the education sector is amongst the many which have taken a strong blow due to the COVID-19 situation.

Therefore, through its Impact Project, PeaceX wants to bring the benefits of quality education to “the most marginalised” and to realize this aim, a broad coalition of civil society groups, International organisations, schools, college societies, etc. needs to be formed with focus on these goals.
